PA Department of Health Ruling Regarding Dental Appointments

PA Department of Health ruling: Teledentistry and Guidelines to help patients determine when to consult their dentist for care

April 1, 2020

As a leading health care provider in Western, Pennsylvania, Three Rivers Dental Group has, as its number one priority, the health and safety of our patients.

In support of this priority,  it’s very important that our current patients and patients that may be new to our practice, be informed of the most recent PA Department of Health ruling.

Under the direction of an order by the Governor of the state of Pennsylvania, dentists may only treat dental issues classified as “emergencies” until May 1st, 2020.

The ADA has provided a general list of the examples or issues that may be treated as emergencies under the current PA law. Click here for more information and to download the ADA Dental Emergency Patient Flyer.

At Three Rivers Dental we will do all we can to serve the patients of Western, PA., during this 30 day mandated closure, including offering “Teledentistry.”

Teledentistry is a unique service where a patient can remotely speak, in real-time, with one of our doctors, with their issues or questions they may have and avoid an office visit.

Please visit our website for an online appointment request or call 855-4-NO FEARS to speak to one of our patient service representatives.

Together we will get through this and be a stronger and healthier nation!

Thank you for your continued support and understanding,

Three Rivers Dental Group
