Traditional dental X-rays have come a long way. Our ICAT scans generate high-resolution dental images to help us determine the best dental treatment for your needs. We use state-of-the-art 3D scanning technology to assess patients’ unique needs and create a personalized treatment plan.
Repair dentistry can break down over time. “We see a lot of patients that come in with mouths destroyed by root canals, broken fillings, and decay, said Dr. Erich Zimmermann. “We’re able to take a 3D scan of their mouth and determine what is the best avenue for dental implants for that patient, whether it be dentures that snap on implants, single implants, or an all-on-four with a lab and 3D scanner gives them new teeth that day.”
A dental implant is a root substitute for the tooth. A connector, also called an abutment, gets placed on top of the implant. The crown is placed over the top of that as well.
